Hope and pray that you and your family are having a safe and wonderful 4th.
I am emailing you a "blog" site, that will give you an update of the Red Lake Team put together from our Youth Pastor: Dwayne Eslick.

Below is a schedule of Team activities for the rest of the week:

- Wednesday (today) the team is schld. to work with the elders on the rez and possibly visit the Mission. They are also schld. to see the pow-wow and do some outreach & pass out flyer's for the 3 on 3 basketball tournament tomm.

- Thursday, the team will be visiting a Women's Shelter in the morning.
Then the team will be preparing to get ready for the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament at the Cage. After dinner the team will have Youth Night Service by our very own Rich Vargas.

- Friday the team will be wrapping things up and leaving the rez to come back home. The team will then drive 5-6 hours to Calvary Church and spend the night there.

- The team will drive back to Chicago on Saturday morning (7-8 hour drive).

The M2RL Team should arrive safely Saturday afternoon between 12:00 and 1:00pm @ Midway.
Please continue to pray for the team in the reminder of the week and esp. for safety in the long ride back home.

could you please email the parents & contacts on the list that i gave you on friday.
the leaders at red lake are getting calls from parents asking to speak to their kid every nite, which if you recall from last year is an issue with the phones & it takes the focus away from the real reason why the youth are there
also, please cc: me in the email to the parents so that i could forward it to the ones not on the list

EMAIL FROM RICH ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON

I just wanted to let you know that we have left Calvay Church and are heading as we speak to the REZ - they actually have internet at this rest stop.

Once we get to the REZ we will meet up with Pas. Tom, have dinner and debrief

The Church service on Sunday is at 10:00am

The devos are going well and we were totally belessed by Scott - we had a great BBQ yesterday he even came to the Calvary Church and picked us up to go to Sam's club at 8:00am in the morning.

Jose and Joann In Mexico, Matt and Sarah in Brazil

Jose and Joann are in Mexico scouting out the land. They are visiting Lily of the Valley Orphanage where we have been two times in the past and they are also visiting another orphanage near Mexico City. Please keep them in prayer.

Matt and Sarah from New Life Little Village, along with their daughter Isabella are in Brazil visiting a ministry that reaches out to children that live on the streets. Please pray for their safety and God's direction for their lives and possible future working with street kids.

The 3 on 3 went pretty good today. We had 12 team (2 new life teams) for the 16 and up ... and i think 7 teams for the 11 - 15 age bracket. The new mask team ministered and Tony H. shared the gospel for the older guys and Jose C for the younger. There was a cookout and many people came and had some food. I will try to get some pictures up before I head out and a summary video on Sunday. In the meantime... you can see videos from sunday and monday on the www.mybattleplan.com/NewLifeYouth website. I am getting further behind on the video... so I will do my best to catch up. They keep us on a tight schedule. We are divided into four teams and so today my team went and painted a house and two other teams switched over to kids klub. We try not to make them feel wierd by videoing too much. Anyone who would spend time with these kids would fall in love with them. Be sure to check out the video. Day 3 has some cool footage. If you don't like the music just turn down the volume! Doing great...

we are doing excellent! None of us have cell phone without the expensive roaming charges. (only verizon)

We are helping out with a day camp and painting a catholic school and also a foster parents basement. I overheard that we had about 80 kids at Day Camp today.

Please pray for a basketball tournament we are organizing for Wed. at 5:30. Pray for participants and wisdom for organization.

Please keep Jose and Joann in prayer as they finish up all the last minute details. (Rent a vans to pick up, proper checks and money, etc. etc. etc.)

Also please keep the youth in prayer as the enemy is attacking strong to keep some of them from going. Pray that the whole team would be ready to go by tommorrow.

Friends and family members,

with the benefits of technology... you can now get up to date info on how the trip is going. We are going to do our best to call in every day at least once. Red Lake does not seem to be covered by T-Mobile... so that will affect how much we can call in from my (Pastor Dwayne's) phone. We will have a phone card ready just in case and then we can call in from a pay phone or something. Also, depending on our internet access, we will post photos and videos of the trip as often as possible. Thanks for your prayer support and financial gifts. You have made an impact for eternity.
