Hope and pray that you and your family are having a safe and wonderful 4th.
I am emailing you a "blog" site, that will give you an update of the Red Lake Team put together from our Youth Pastor: Dwayne Eslick.

Below is a schedule of Team activities for the rest of the week:

- Wednesday (today) the team is schld. to work with the elders on the rez and possibly visit the Mission. They are also schld. to see the pow-wow and do some outreach & pass out flyer's for the 3 on 3 basketball tournament tomm.

- Thursday, the team will be visiting a Women's Shelter in the morning.
Then the team will be preparing to get ready for the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament at the Cage. After dinner the team will have Youth Night Service by our very own Rich Vargas.

- Friday the team will be wrapping things up and leaving the rez to come back home. The team will then drive 5-6 hours to Calvary Church and spend the night there.

- The team will drive back to Chicago on Saturday morning (7-8 hour drive).

The M2RL Team should arrive safely Saturday afternoon between 12:00 and 1:00pm @ Midway.
Please continue to pray for the team in the reminder of the week and esp. for safety in the long ride back home.

very important:
could you please email the parents & contacts on the list that i gave you on friday.
the leaders at red lake are getting calls from parents asking to speak to their kid every nite, which if you recall from last year is an issue with the phones & it takes the focus away from the real reason why the youth are there
also, please cc: me in the email to the parents so that i could forward it to the ones not on the list

spoke to rich this evening, the team are now at the rez safe and sound :)
so far so good. they are working on the devotional books and setting up for the schld. events & activities.

EMAIL FROM RICH ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON

I just wanted to let you know that we have left Calvay Church and are heading as we speak to the REZ - they actually have internet at this rest stop.

Once we get to the REZ we will meet up with Pas. Tom, have dinner and debrief

The Church service on Sunday is at 10:00am

The devos are going well and we were totally belessed by Scott - we had a great BBQ yesterday he even came to the Calvary Church and picked us up to go to Sam's club at 8:00am in the morning.
